ProWinko is a privately owned real estate investment firm. Founded in 1990, Prowinko strives to represent creativity, reliability and dependability. The ProWinko team is relatively small but highly professional.
Our portfolio consists almost exclusively of high quality retail properties at prime locations in major cities. ProWinko's primary focus is on the Benelux countries, (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg). Our active approach to investing is not only reflected in the acquisitions we do, but also in the way in which we treat our retail assets. We adapt to the continuously changing needs of today's retailers, always with respect for the building's architecture. The array of retailers that choose to locate in ProWinko properties confirms that our approach is appreciated.
Aside from investment transactions, we also engage in development and redevelopment investments. These are at times done in cooperation or partnership with other professional developers.
Noteworthy investments in THE NETHERLANDS
The development of shopping center "De Klanderij" in Enschede, the new "Markthof" in Hoofddorp and the redeveloped historical building on the Dam Square in Amsterdam (leased to H&M and ABN Amro Bank) are prime examples of our work. The success of these investments is underlined by their excellent tenancies, and in the case of "De Klanderij" was further recognized by receiving three (international) awards. At this moment at a very unique and green site in Amstelveen we are realising the office building Bella Donna at Bella Donna 2-4. This building will be entirely tuned on the demands of this moment and will change in an actual and especially environmentally friendly office building, in which amongst others the head office of Prowinko will be situated.
Noteworthy investments in BELGIUM
The redevelopment of Louizalaan 32-46 in Brussels and Demerstreet in Hasselt (leased to H&M and The Sting) are prime examples of Prowinko's achievements. Their success is further underlined by their excellent. The "Toison D'Or" in Brussels is our next innovative investment, both when it comes to the architecture as well as environmentally responsible construction. This development is located in a very prominent location in Brussels and forms a bridge between two retail areas: the Port of Namur and the Port Louisa.
In recent years, ProWinko has been seeking further growth of the portfolio by expanding into North America. From our office in Toronto, Prowinko has made its first strategic investments and is exploring further expansion in all major North American cities that have urban street retail areas. Twenty years of retail real estate expertise and the excellent relationships we have with European retailers have proven to give us a notable edge. We strive to bring our reputation of reliability to these new markets.
