We have been working on a guideline agreement with various parties,
including the municipality. This document will serve as a basis for testing
plans and initiatives, and as a starting point for the permit process. According to the municipality’s plans, the Buikslotermeerplein area will be extensively redeveloped in the coming years and grow into an urban center with more space for living, working, culture, shopping and entertainment. In collaboration with UN Studio, we have planned a total of 3 residential towers with commercial space on the ground floor and a total of 350/400 apartments on the upper levels. We have also proposed an ‘Art Hotel’ that will exude culture while incorporating catering facilities and spaces for art coworking. This will match and enhance the character of this young and lively area, providing further impetus to the municipality’s ambitions for Amsterdam North. We are collaborating on this concept with the ACE Hotel Group. We hope to begin construction of the residential towers and the Art Hotel around Q1 2025.
